October 2015 General Conference – Priesthood Session

Priesthood Session

Neil L. Andersen – Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

AndersenNL_1008sHow does the Savior see your faith?

Faith is a substance that emits a spiritual light.

Your faith is either growing stronger or it’s becoming weaker.

The future of your faith is not by chance but by choice.

How we live our lives increases or diminishes our faith.

Using our mind without our heart will not bring spiritual answers.

Faith never demands an answer to every question.

When was the last time you read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover? Read it again. It will increase your faith.

The guidance of the First Presidency and the Twelve protect our faith.

Randall K. Bennett – Seventy

randall-k-bennett-largeHeavenly Father and our Savior are eager to bless us.

The Lord will guide us to and through our next steps.

Strength is given to those who keep seeking and trying.

Dieter F. Achtdorf – First Presidency

mormon-UchtdorfSome are given their faith as a gift from heaven. Some of us have to work for our testimonies.

Are we like Daniel? Do we stand loyal to God? Or are we Sunday Christians only?

We have been given much.

Let us not take these things lightly.

We need to rise up to our great responsibilities and obligations.

We believe in God because of what we know in our heart and mind.

There is no magic to be belief, but wanting to believe is the necessary first step m

God is no respect or of persons. Anyone can believe.

There is nothing impressive about being cynical.

Faith is not valued by society.

The world has a long history or rejecting things that it cannot see or understand.

Have courage to believe.

Henry B. Eyring – First Presidency

Have confidence to do your part in your calling.

Thomas S. Monson – President

thomas-s-monson-largeKeep the commandments.

When we keep the commandments our lives will be less complicated.

We have the choice to accept or reject them.

Our decisions in this regard will determine our destiny.

The adversary is committed to our failure.
