Robert D. Hales – Quorum of Twelve Apostles
All of us benefit from the Light of Christ, but the Holy Ghost is different.
The Holy Ghost is one in purpose with the Father and the Son.
The Holy Ghost provides personal revelation to help us make life’s decisions.
Personal revelation is essential, but is only one part of the work of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost testifies of the Savior and God the Father.
The Holy Ghost teaches us the peaceable things of the kingdom.
The Holy Ghost is not given to control us.
The Holy Ghost honors the principle of agency.
Only the prophet may receive revelation through the Holy Ghost for the entire Church.
Faithfulness in keeping commandments and covenants will keep us from being deceived.
We cannot receive revelation for others.
The Holy Ghost is central to the Restoration.
Let us encourage our children and others to follow the direction of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is a medium for God’s work in families and throughout the Church.
Gerrit W. Gong – Presidency of Seventy
We can always remember Him.
The Lord remembers His promises.
We will remember the name of the Lord our God who guides the future as he has the past.
We can always remember Him by gratefully acknowledging His hand throughout our lives.
Life must be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.
We can remember those who give us a chance and a second chance.
We can become someone others remember.
We can always remember him by trusting him.
Remember, He knows all the things we don’t want anyone else to know about us, and loves us still.
Strength can be found in remembering the atonement of Jesus Christ.
We can always remember Him.
When we remember his words and example we will not take offense.
He invites us to remember that He always welcomes us home.
When you are ready, please open your heart to the Book of Mormon, for the first time.
We each grow through our imperfect participation.
We can always remember him on the sabbath through the sacrament.
Our Savior invites us to always remember Him as He always remembers us.
Patrick Kearon – Seventy
The Church has provided shelter and medical care to refugees.
Serving those in need provides rich and fulfilling experiences.
Millions of refugees whose stories no longer make news, are in desperate need of our help.
Hearing refugee stories with your own ears will change you.
The stakes of Zion are to be a defense and a refuge from the storm.
Being a refugee does not define them.
This moment does not define them. Our response to refugees will help define us.
Dallin H. Oaks – Quorum of Twelve Apostles
The plan of salvation helps us understand the many challenges we face in mortality.
A Savior payed the price to redeem us from our sins if we will repent of them.
It must needs be that there is an opposition in all things.
Opposition was necessary in the Garden of Eden.
From the beginning agency and opposition were central to the Father’s plan and Satan’s rebellion against it.
It is opposition that enables choice, and it is the opportunity of making the right choices that leads to growth that is the purpose of the Father’s plan.
If there was no opposition there would be no happiness nor misery.
All things have been done in the wisdom of Him who knoweth all things.
None of us is exempt from opposition.
Opposition helps us grow to what our Heavenly Father desires us to become.
The Lord did not make it easy, but he did make it possible.
Our mortal life was never mean to be easy or consistency pleasant.
Opposition increases so that we will continue to face opposition in all things.
We should know them by their fruits.
Some things can only be learned by faith.
Through all mortal opposition we have God’s assurance that the will consecrate our afflictions for our gain.
Kent F. Richards – Seventy
We need the temple more than anything else.
The real power of the temple is in the ordinances.
Our responsibility is to receive that which the Father offers.
Everything we do in the church is to prepare each of us to come to the temple and kneel at the alter and receive all of the Father’s promised blessings for eternity.
Each temple has a family priority time to allow you to schedule time in the baptistry.
Surely the veil is thin for us and parts completely for our deceased ancestors in the temple.
We need more workers to accomplish this wonderful work.
Temple work is as much benefit to the young and the active as it is to the aged.
Pre-missionaries are being called to serve in temples as ordinance workers.
The temple has changed my life forever.
Service in the temple is a sublime activity for a family.
The blessings of the temple are priceless. No sacrifice is too great.
Paul V. Johnson – Seventy
Easter is a reminder of all that I hope for of myself – that someday I will be healed, someday I will be whole.
I’m so glad that I truly believe in a beautiful afterlife.
We are spirit children of heavenly parents.
After resurrection the spirit will never again be separated from the body because the Savior’s resurrection brought victory over death.
Resurrection is redemption from the bands or the chains of death.
There is no salvation without both our spirit and our body.
No cure is beyond the power of God.
What we celebrate on Easter actually happened. The Resurrection is real.
He can make us whole no matter what is broken in us.
We can be made perfect through Jesus.
Thanks be to God who giveth us the victory.
The resurrection is a source of great hope.
Jeffrey R. Holland – Quorum of Twelve Apostles
Do you have any idea of how much we (the Brethren) love you?
Here you are.
You are the miracle of this Church.
Fact: None of us want tomorrow to destroy the wonderful feelings we have had this weekend.
After heavenly moments in our lives, we of necessity, return to earth so to speak.
It’s no wonder that Jesus longed for the solitude of mountaintops.
Don’t give up. The gospel, the Church, are intended to give hope and inspiration, not discouragement.
Worlds without end, Lucifer will never have a bright tomorrow.
We can improve, and the great thing about the gospel is we get credit for trying even if we don’t always succeed.
If God were to only reward the perfectly faithful he wouldn’t have much of a distribution list.
The Lord blesses those who want to improve.
Soon enough you’ll have the success that you seek.
To qualify for blessings we must make certain to never deny them to others.
The first great truth of all eternity is that God loves us with all of his heart, might, mind and strength.
The love of God is the foundation stone of all eternity and should be the foundation stone for our lives.
God will never desert us. He never has and he never will. It is not in his character to do so. – Cannon
We can escape he consequences of both sin and stupidity if we give our heart to God and love the Lord Jesus Christ.
If we do the best we can to live the gospel than tomorrow and every other day is going to be magnificent.
All things work together for good to them that love God. So keep loving, keep trying.
Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever.
May a loving Father in heaven bless us tomorrow to remember how we felt today.
He will be with us especially when we struggle.
Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.
