Spiritual eclipses – minor and troublesome obstructions to the light of the gospel.
Success in life ins’t measure in likes or number of followers.
Pride is swallowed in the Christlike attribute of humility.
Humility and meekness fit hand in glove.
None is acceptable before God except the meek and lowly in heart.
Don’t let life’s distractions eclipse heaven’s light.
Stephen W. Owen – Young Men General President
Repentance points us to freedom, confidence, and peace.
Repentance is always positive.
Only the Savior can remove our stains and life our burdens…
The joy of repentance is more than the joy of living a decent life.
Repentance is for everyone.
Repentance both puts us on the right path, and keeps us on the right path.
It is not enough just to gain a testimony. You have to maintain it.
Repentance is a life-long pursuit, not just a once in a lifetime experience.
Quentin L. Cook – Quorum of Twelve Apostles
Our precious mortal existence is a very short time.
We are all equal before God.
Anyone who claims superiority under the Father’s plan…is morally wrong and does not understand the Lord’s true purpose.
Sometimes humility is accepting callings when we do not feel adequate.
Sometimes humility is overcoming hurt feelings when we feel leaders or others have mistreated us.
Church service requires humility.
We need more modesty and humility.
When we are truly humble we pray for forgiveness and forgive others.
When we do not forgive those who trespass against us, we are affectively rejecting the Savior’s atonement.
Holding a grudge is poisonous to our souls.
Humility is a sign of spiritual strength.
Hymn – There is Sunshine in my Soul Today
Ronald A. Rasband – Quorum of Twelve Apostles
Coincidence is not an appropriate word to describe the workings of an omniscient God.
His workings are not done by coincidence, but by divine design.
Events unfold in our life that further God’s work.
We have come into the world to do the will of the Father.
The Lord is orchestrating important moves for you and those you love.
Allow the Lord to make more of you than you can make for yourself on your own.
The Lord loves to be with us.
Not all that the Lord asks of us is a result of how strong we are, how faithful we are, or what we know.
Each of us has divinity within us.
By divine design, He is in the small details of your life, as well as the milestones.
O. Vincent Haleck – Seventy
The heart of the widow.
A man can live in the dark for a period, but there will come a time when he will want to come into the light.
The heart of the widow is defined by the willingness to give all to build up the kingdom of God on the earth.
Russell M. Nelson – President, Quorum of Twelve Apostles
“Nothing is more precious than this additional knowledge of Jesus Christ.”
Conversion is an individual matter.
How precious is the Book of Mormon to you?
What would your life be like without the Book of Mormon?
Death is a necessary part of our existence.
I testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It contains answers to life’s most compelling questions.
The full power of the gospel of Jesus Christ is contained in the Book of Mormon. Period.
As you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon everyday, you will make better decisions everyday.
The Book of Mormon is the book that will prepare the world for the second coming of the Savior.
Closing Hymn – Rejoice the Lord is King
