Our mortal life is designed by a loving God to be a test.
Taking the Savior’s name is not finished at baptism.
We must work on taking His name throughout our lives.
The Lord has opportunities near you to feel and share His love.
As you help others in their troubles, your troubles will seem lighter.
Brian K. Ashton – Second Counselor, General Sunday School Presidency
Heavenly Father will help each of us as we strive to keep his commandments.
He ensures that all things work for the good of those who love him.
Attributes of the Father.
The Father focuses on helping us to progress, not condemning us.
Striving to become like the Father is worth every sacrifice.
Robert C. Gay – Presidency of the Seventy
In the eyes of Christ each soul is of infinite worth.
As we see as He sees, ours will be a double victory. Redemption of those we see, and redemption of ourselves.
God will work wonders among us as we sanctify ourselves.
We minister to all regardless of where or how they stand.
To take upon ourselves His name we must trust Him.
Matthew L. Carpenter – Seventy
Our Heavenly Father is all-powerful and all-knowing.
There is no physical, emotional, or spiritual ailment that Christ cannot heal.
Healing occurs according to His will and wisdom.
It is never a good idea to procrastinate repentance.
Spiritual healing accelerates when the sinner confuses.
The Savior will heal us.
The faster we bring the Atonement and its effects into our lives, the sooner we can be healed.
Take the healing medicine the Savior offers. Take it today, do not delay.
Intermediate Hymn – Glory to God on High
Dale G. Renlund – Quorum of Twelve
Sometimes we act as if we already know everything.
We are not to just do what is right, we are to choose to do what is right.
Lucifer is the ultimate bully, the one who kicks us when we are down.
There is no-one so hard to teach as the child who knows everything.
Jack N. Gerard – Seventy
Have we distracted ourselves from the things that matter most?
Step back from the world and asses your life.
If there is anything in your life you need to consider, now is the time.
We need to focus on things of eternal worth.
Assessing our lives gives us an opportunity to step back from the world.
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Gary E. Stevenson – Quorum of Twelve
Seek to help individuals to prepare for their next ordinance, keep covenants, and be self-reliant.
We are not expected to perform miracles.
Russel M. Nelson – President
Study the messages, commencing this week.
As you work to remodel your home in to a center of gospel learning, your sabbath days will become a delight.
Our time in the temple is crucial.
Our need to be in the temple on a regular basis has never been greater.
Plans are being made to renovate and update the Salt Lake Temple, and other pioneer temples.
12 new temples announced.
Spending your time in the temple will change your life.
