I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter weekend. My wife and I spent the weekend in Utah and made some great memories.
Two highlights came on the same day, Saturday. In the afternoon we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. What an incredible display of beautiful flowers!
Unexpectedly, we stumbled upon a preview of a new project that will come in the future on the garden’s grounds. The project is called “The Light of the World Garden.” Artist Angela Johnson has beautifully portrayed scenes from the life of the Savior. Smaller scaled statues surround a full sized statue of the Savior walking on water. The plans call for each of the smaller statues being placed throughout the gardens in their full sizes. How beautiful that will be. To see more of my shots of these statues, please visit my Instagram page.
Saturday evening we had the opportunity to attend the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s performance of Handel’s Messiah with the Orchestra at Temple Square. Words cannot describe how powerful this concert was. Not only was the music touching, but so was the message. Jesus Christ is real. Oh that I have no doubt.
The best part is anyone can know it.
