Many are wandering in strange paths and losing their way.
We need to tighten our grip on that rod that leads us back to Him.
Fly right in the gathering storms of the last days.
If I make this choice, what is the worst thing that could happen?
One of the purposes of the scriptures is to see how righteous people respond to temptation.
The Lord will always keep His promise.
If you are there for the Lord, he will be there for you.
You are rich if you can live happily within your means.
Pay your tithing and then save.
When you earn more save more.
Knowledge does away with darkness, suspense, and doubt.
In knowledge there is power.
When you date learn everything you can about each other.
None of us marry perfection. We marry potential.
Dating and marriage are the gateway to where you ultimately want to go.
The Lord knows your desires and loves you.
If you don’t have abundant resources, don’t worry.
I didn’t raise my children on money. I raised them on faith.
Exercise your faith every day.
If you want my counsel be prepared to take it.
Be careful about taking advice from your peers.
If you want more than you now have reach upward, not across.
Just remember – you are a pilot and you are in charge.
As you come to yourself your Heavenly Father will come to you.

No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child.
It’s not only that our mothers bare us, but they continue baring with us.
Maternal love has to be divine. There is no other explanation for such feelings.
What mothers do is an essential element of Christ’s work.
Not every maternal effort has a storybook ending, at least not immediately.
In any moment of temptation may we behold our mother as well as our Savior, and spare them both the sorrow of our sinning.
To all mothers everywhere I say “thank you.”
Mothers are saviors on Mount Zion.

The world fights for our children’s identity and minds.
We can not let society give our family a makeover in the image of the world.
Our children are the largest group of investigators in the Church.
Help children grow roots into deep conversion.
Our children were Heavenly Father’s children before they were ours.
Our children learn when they are ready to learn, not just when we are ready to teach them.
The Son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the Father do.
It’s never too early, and never too late to lead, guide and walk beside our children.

Trials and temptations are universal.
Smile.
The cornerstone of God’s plan is the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Savior descended below all things, and comprehends all things.

We live in a world where we will experience challenges of our faith.
No matter how intense the darkness of doubt we choose how long to let it influence us.
While we are struggling in the darkness there is nothing wrong with relying on the light of those who love us.
Is it wise to place our eternal well being in the hands of strangers?
Remember those who truly love us can help us build our faith.
We cannot rely upon the light of others forever.
There are things that I have felt that cannot be explained any other way, except that they are of God.
Doubt not the Lord nor his goodness. We have proved him in days that are passed.
There is no darkness so dense…that it cannot be overcome by light.

God does answer our prayers, but he answers them when we have a sincere heart with real intent.
He does not answer just to respond to our curiosity.
We are placed on earth to be tried and tested.
Have ye inquired of the Lord?
If you do not feel it now you can feel it again.
Do not give up. Never give up.
Never give up on God.
The words of Christ will tell us all things that we should do.
We should make scripture study a daily part of our lives.
Turn to Him.
What greater witness can you have then from God?
I truly know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet.
We must have faith with works to receive answers.

Our Savior can provide the strength we need to overcome mortal challenges.
In the Savior’s atonement he suffered pains, afflictions, and temptations of every kind.
Our Savior suffered and experienced the fullness of mortal challenges.
He knows our struggles, our heartaches, our temptations, our sufferings.
His atonement empowers us to give us strength to bear it all.
Sometimes he gives us the patience to help us endure our infirmities.
Mortality is filled with frequent struggles, heartaches and sufferings.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous. But the Lord delivereth Him out of them all.
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure.
Having descending beneath it all, He is perfectly positioned to lift us.
Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ hear and answer the prayers of all who seek them.
